O.C.D. WALLET 101

The O.C.D. Wallet was designed for those of us who desire to live a minimalist lifestyle. It was engineered for people who carry their essentials and nothing else. The team here at O.C.D. Experience created this wallet to bridge the gap between style and organization.

Here’s how to get the most out of your O.C.D. Wallet.

what do you REALLY need in your wallet?

Move items that are taking up space in your physical wallet to your phone & digital wallet like:

  • Insurance Cards (Medical, Auto & Home)
  • Receipts (if you even need them)
  • Frequent Flyer Cards
  • Membership Cards (most companies take digital versions now)
  • The fortune cookie fortunes that keep piling up

how to use your
o.c.d. walletS

1 - Money Clip

Stick your thumb under that clip and give it a little bend. It comes tight for a reason, but sometimes it is too tight to hold your stack. Don't bend it too much as you want it to keep its strength.

2 - Pocket

We created this pocket in our second-generation O.C.D. Wallet design to hold receipts, a valet ticket, even business cards that you pick up during a night out or event. This pocket is made to be emptied out every day if you're living the O.C.D. lifestyle.

3&8 - Thumb Slot

This thumb slot was created with one thing in mind; easy access and functionality. We designed the O.C.D. Wallet to keep our items accessible and available to us immediately. No more fumbling for cards that should slide out simply.

4&5 - Extra Cards

We like to keep our debit cards & lesser used credit cards in slot 4, and use slot 5 for business cards, which allows you to show off your O.C.D. Wallet when retrieving your card for a new contact. Less is more, so don't stuff these pockets up!

6 - ID Slot

The ID slot was designed with one thing in mind; being able to flash your identification without the need to take it out and give it to someone. This eliminates the exchange of germs and reduces the likelihood of losing your ID.

7 - Front Pouch

The front pouch is for your 2-3 most frequently used credit cards for the easiest retrieval thanks to the front thumb slot. Just like the money clip, slide two fingers in the front pouch to open it up and give it a stretch; don't worry you won't rip it. This is to ensure your cards come out easy when using the built-in thumb slot.

Minimalist wallet setup

Carry what earns daily access.

The O.C.D. Wallet system is not about carrying every card you own. It is a constraint for the essentials: ID, key card, one to three payment cards, and a small amount of cash. Everything else should move into a secure digital system whenever possible so it is easier to search, share, and access.

MagSafe Wallet setup

For the premium MagSafe Wallet, keep a car key card or access card in the back, your ID where you can reach it, one to two cards in the top slot, one card in the middle slot, and up to eight bills in the front slot. The front pass-through gives access to all three card and cash slots without overstuffing.

Slim Wallet closeout

The Slim Wallet is the older minimalist model from a previous manufacturer. It is on limited closeout while inventory lasts and is best for ID, one to three daily cards, and a small amount of cash.

Digitize the rest

Insurance cards, membership cards, loyalty cards, receipts, passwords, and files usually belong in your phone, password manager, cloud files, or digital inventory system so they are easier to find, share, and back up.

Edit before you carry

If a card does not earn daily access, remove it. The wallet works because it forces a clear decision: what belongs with you, what belongs at home, and what belongs in a digital system.

MagSafe Wallet

The current premium wallet uses upgraded leather designed for long-lasting durability and resistance to tearing, with a phone-side setup for the essentials you touch every day.

O.C.D. Wallet Questions

What should I carry in an O.C.D. Wallet?

Carry only the essentials you use most: ID, key card, one to three payment cards, and a small amount of cash. Digitize insurance cards, membership cards, loyalty cards, receipts, and documents whenever possible.

How should I set up the MagSafe Wallet?

Use the back for a car key card or access card, keep your ID accessible, place one to two cards in the top slot, one card in the middle slot, and up to eight bills in the front slot with pass-through access to all three front slots.

Why digitize cards and receipts?

Digital cards, receipts, documents, and records are easier to search, share, back up, and access from the phone you already carry. The physical wallet should stay reserved for daily essentials.
